You can also get extra savings with a Kohl's credit card. If you are a current credit card holder, check your latest statement VERY closely.
Carrie and MoneySavingMethods.com said, there was an insert in hers that looked like a flier, but when she opened it up it was $10 off $10. They often send coupons. Signing up for the Kohl's Credit card has other perks, as well. You can almost always get an extra 15% off when you use it. I just use it, and then pay it off right away, no interest or anything, but still the discount:)

Halloween Party Decorating

If any of you know me, I like to go all out for Halloween and am starting a tradition of throwing a party each year. I transform my house (or flat as the case was in the past) into a haunted house:) I have pictures and fun ideas I used from last year, that I may post later on, but just wanted to post about the things I did today for my party that only cost me $1.25!!

I found some black spray paint at Family Dollar, some tree branches, found in nature, and spray painted them black. Kind of like the picture, only I don't plan to hang anything from them. Not sure where I will place, them, but they will look good on the food table maybe. Anyways, it was a cool, cheap idea I thought I'd share.

Ooh...thought of one more:) I just pritned out the template I have for these, cut them out, taped them onto the inside of my lamp shades. It looks awesome. If you want templates, post a comment and I will send them to you. I have a jack-o-lantern and a vampire one that I used too (mine aren't orange or green:))

I have put it to the test.

Thanks to moneysavingmethods.com, I learned that there are a few companies out there who are legit in offering these prizes. It does take money up front to sign up for offers, but it only ended up costing me about $40 and I got $500 in return. I did two of these deals and got a $500 Visa and a $500 Sears Gift Card (which we used to buy our new fridge:)). And I am planning on doing more.

I will be posting instructions on how to do this, hopefully tomorrow, I am falling asleep as I write. So check back in. It's Awesome.

Warning: Don't do any of these deals unless you read the instructions, there are a few tricks, and things you must be aware of.

$25 Amazon Gift Cards...Use Swagbucks!

You guys gotta try Swagbucks. I've got $25 in amazon gift cards, just for using swagbucks search engine. It's taken me a while to get the $25, but it's free money for doing the stuff I already do. I downloaded the toolbar and use that to do all my searches on the internet.

You get swagbucks through different ways. The first, and really the only way I use, is to use the search engine, but you don't get a swagbuck for everytime you use the engine. It will just randomly give you a swagbuck after searching for a while or sometimes it doesn't take very much. You never know when you will get a swagbuck, and sometimes they are 2, 3 or even 5 swagbucks. The other way is to search for swagcodes on the website, I don't really do this one, cuz I am too lazy, but it's kind of fun.

So, you can cash in your swagbucks for real prizes. I always do the $5 amazon card for 45 swagbucks, but there is a paypal cash out and other gift card options.

Like I said though, it can be slow going, but also fun to see your swagbucks add up and get a prize for stuff you are already doing. I'm using the $25 to get cute curtain rods for my new house.

Ever been to BrylaneHome? Me Neither, not until yesterday when I discovered some great deals from another awesome blog (thanks, moneysavingmethods.com)!

So, what I did was got $10 e-coupon code when a friend referred me through my e-mail (so let me know if any of you want me to send you a referral e-mail with a coupon, I get $10 for referring someone too, so it's very nice)

Next, go to BrylaneHome link in your e-mail. Click on the Clearance tab, then the $9.99 or less bargains. Here there was actually a lot of things I wanted (of course), but in another section I found this: plastic bag organizer I really want and need. After I used my e-coupon and with shipping and taxes it cost about $10.78,BUT, when the order is placed there will be a place that says you can get $10 off your next purchase. It is a company called Reservation Rewards. It is a free 30 day trial with them, so you have to put it on your calendar to cancel in thirty days. When you sign up for these guys, they will give you another coupon code that you can use right away, but also as part of there program, they will give you a $10 cashbaq each month with Brylane Homes. All you have to do is e-mail them your order confirmation with Brylane Home and they will send you $10 back on your purchase. You have to do it right away though, so that they will process it and send it before your thirty days are up on the trial. Anyways, you end up getting it for $0.78

Then, you can refer a friend and send them a $10 coupon if they sign up and you get $10 coupon.

So, I used the $10 e-coupon again and also had the code from Reservation rewards for $10 off. They only let you use one promotional code, but Reservation Rewards is actually a Gift Code you enter in right before you purchase, so you can get $20 off your next order with this. This will count for shipping as well. The next two things I got was this super cute bag set and this awesome pineapple slicer. My sister has one and showed me how it works, and I have wanted one ever since. At the time I did this there was also a promotion for a free sewing machine with any purchase, so I got all this for $0.78 and two free sewing machines. The sewing machine deal is no longer available, but the rest is and it's still way good.

K-Mart is offering incentives to transfer your subscriptions and get them filled with K-Mart. I have to get perscriptions every month and it's expensive so this is cool. I just learned that tons of pharmacies offer deals like this. So, I can just get them filled at a new place everytime if I have a coupon for transfering.
